Our file was in his office for 1 year before any work was completed. It was not until our house was up foreclosure that something finally happened in our case. Wall had a contract paralegal at the time who took control of our case and saved our home. It was unacceptable to us that our file sat for s...o long without any work being completed. We later learned that Wall has many bar complaints filed against him. His secretary at the time was rude and did not return our calls and neither did Wall. We would not and will not recommend this firm and Wall to anyone.

Totally unacceptable conduct from entire staff. I could never get a return call from anyone during the entire 4+ month process. Calls are totally ignored, day after day, week after week. Mr. Wall would also never call with info even after a meeting when he promised he would. Office manager very r...ude. Asked me "what EXACTLY were my expectations" at one point. I stated I expected things to be done in a timely manner and to have the courtesy of returned calls. Mr. Wall told me at one point, that "it was nothing personal" when my calls were ignored. He always blamed the OM, yet later stated that all calls go to his email on his cell phone. It took weeks to find out when my 341 meeting was being rescheduled to, and then I got a call only after leaving VM that "lack of communication is a major reason that clients file grievances." After all this, he didn't even show up for my meeting with the creditors yesterday with no phone call or anything. So, I had to do it myself. I filed a grievance this morning.

I trusted Mr. Wall based on the recommendation of a friend. I explained my situation (wrongful foreclosure) to him and received encouraging news and support. The communication was good until he received my retainer funds. After that, no response to ANY forms of communication. Several months later, I... found out that he was/had been seriously ill and had taken on more clients than recommended. Seeing that NO work was done on my case, I filed a complaint with the MD Attorney Grievance Commission. While I feel badly for this man who is a sole practitioner and in ill health, he/his office could have sent me correspondence regarding his situation and/or at least letting me know my option(s). He did neither. It is hard to describe the feeling of thinking you have an attorney who is looking out for your best interest and in a time sensitive situation - is nowhere to be found. When I finally got through to his office, a lady answered the phone and was very unprofessional. After two years of filing my claim and dealing with a few entities, I finally received a refund from the Client Protection Fund. While I dislike writing negative reviews, it would be a disservice if I didn't share my experience.
