Very Unsatisfactory
He was hired in early 2013 to help our company go after people that defrauded us. In the beginning, he was very responsive, once he was paid in full, after two and a half months; he began a pattern of not responding to emails and phone messages. He would ignore questions about the case and not answer...
I dispute the above characterization, and rather obtained a federal district court judgment in a fairly complex matter against qualified and professional opposing counsel. The matter was completed in a professional manner and the client elected to further retain me to pursue collections activities, despite stated displeasure above.

A trustworthy attorney
Scott is a great attorney. He's very responsive, engaging, and thorough. Scott wants what's best for his client - and you can trust his opinion. He gave me sage advice during a sticky situation - I am not sure how much I can write because my case actually involved social media, freedom of speech...

He tells you like it is. Very honest and quick response. I highly recommend him for any family law or anything.

"As a former client and now colleague, I can tell you that Scott is an excellent attorney. He listens, is effective and gets results. He is a superb writer , and his knowledge of the law and research skills are phenomenal. Just a pleasure to work with and gem in the legal community. I highly recommend this attorney."
"I endorse this lawyer. I have worked with Scott on real estate and business matters and found him to be a huge resource for civil litigation cases as well."
"I endorse this lawyer. Scott M. Swafford contacted me to discuss the vacation of a confessed judgment entered against one of his clients. He was aware that my article on confessed judgments is about to published in the Maryland Bar Journal. I had the opportunity to review his Motion to Vacate and/or Modify the Confessed Judgment. Not only was it the best drafted Motion to Vacate that I had ever read, it contained a detailed analysis of why the "forum selection" clause in the parties' contract did not confer personal jurisdiction."
"Attorney Swafford has extensive experience with the FTC and FCC. He has provided valuable legal advice for major telecommunications to ensure consumer protections. He is also a scholar, writer. Scott has helped numerous banks, IT companies, start-ups, and many corporations. I endorse this lawyer."
