Matthew Geoffrey Katz

Matthew Katz is an experienced trial attorney with the firm. Mr. Katz concentrates his practice on criminal matters, and has defended clients at both the District and Circuit Court levels throughout Maryland. In addition to his criminal defense work, Mr. Katz also handles Civil and Family Law matters, and has experience assisting dentists with negotiating and executing the sale of their professional practices.

Mr. Katz earned his Juris Doctorate from The University of Baltimore School of Law, where he gained valuable trial experience as a Rule 19y with the Baltimore County State’s Attorney’s Office. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Washington College, where he was a captain of the men’s tennis team.

An avid fisherman and Eastern Shore native, Mr. Katz is a member of the Coastal Conservation Association’s Annapolis chapter.
