Kathleen M. Kirchner

My experience with Kathleen M. Kirchner was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. At the start, she recycled someone else’s prenuptial agreement, including unrelated personal information, instead of producing a properly customized document. That alone showed a lack of care for a highly sensit...ive legal matter. Despite giving her clear written instructions and forwarding the other party’s draft, Kathleen missed multiple key emails, failed to follow through with her responsibilities, and repeatedly made excuses (“I thought I sent it,” “I didn’t receive it,” etc.) instead of taking accountability. She also produced work riddled with grammatical and factual errors. The contract we signed stated that the agreed-upon fee would cover the work through to completion—there was no clause allowing additional charges. Yet at the last minute, Kathleen demanded more money outside the contract. When I rightfully refused, her behavior changed drastically: she became sloppy, dismissive, and started creating confusion, failing to send critical revisions to the other attorney and dragging her feet on basic tasks. Her overall handling of my case showed a serious lack of diligence, professionalism, and integrity. She was disorganized, careless, and unaccountable—qualities that are unacceptable for an attorney, especially in time-sensitive legal matters. I strongly caution anyone considering her services to think twice and do their research. My experience was frustrating, stressful, and far below any reasonable professional standard.

I hired Kirchner for a the defense at a violation of probation hearing. She charged $2,000 and ended up doing absolutely nothing. After I transferred her the money, I didn't hear from her at all until I demanded a meeting, so we scheduled one a day before the hearing. When I arrived, she didn't even ...know who I was or what my case was about. She and her assistant reviewed it WHILE I was there. Instead of appearing herself, she delegated my defense to her incapable assistant. Their conclusions were unfounded and unreasonable and as such were immediately rejected by the judge the next day. Overall, I would have fared the same without them taking a long vacation since my probation was closed out (unsuccessfully and no thanks to them) at the hearing. Do NOT HIRE. Save your money!

I first hired Mrs Kirchner in I think 2012. I was in drug court and under the representation of someone else that I didn’t feel was representing me to the best of his ability. I switched to Mrs Kirchner because I still had pending charges. Kathleen remained my lawyer for about 4-5 years and really he...lped me straighten up my life because addiction was taking it over. She won cases for me that no other past attorney would’ve won. The objections she came up with in court were absolutely brilliant. I have recommended Kathleen to many people and the people that have taken my advice loved her. She is far from lazy she is aggressive does not just accept plea deals to get paid she will go to bat for you with all she has. Whether it’s a traffic accident or murder trial or custody which she also helped me with she goes into every courtroom like she’s charged up.
