John T. Brennan

I was involved in a real estate insurance case for a home that foreclosed in Maryland. My case was previously non-suited in Virginia State court and re-filed again in Maryland State Court with the plaintiffs hopes to win by default or relying on 'older' laws. At the suggestion of Mr. Brennan, we move...d the case to Federal Court and that is where things started to get traction. Mr. Brennan was thorough and precise in his research and approached our defense with a recent law passed in regards to Real Estate Matters in addition to context of the contract and the limitations within. The new laws content was hard for me to wrap my head around, to say the least, but he was able to correctly decipher and explain the new laws and how it applied to my case. This was not a simple, cut to the chase, case. We approached the case with a Motion to Dismiss on several accounts and it took the Federal Court six-months to reach a verdict (as an indication of the complexity of the case). On one account the court sided with our Motion and the case dismissal was granted on that alone. On the other account, the court found standing however did not delve to deep into the contract because the case had enough reason to grant the Motion to Dismiss. Now about Mr. Brennan. He is straight to point and doesn't sugar coat anything. It sometimes may be a hard pill to swallow but 'it is what it is'. Don't try to make sense of how the court works, follow his advise and work with him cause he is truly working for you. All attorneys are not cheap, but when you have a complex case, you don't need cheap, YOU NEED AN EXPERT...you need John 'Terry' Brennan. With Mr. Brennan, you truly do get what you pay for.

Whew! Where do I start?? These last two years have been hell. However, it is all made better when you have a sophisticated, knowledgable, astute attorney on your side - also known as Mr. John "Terry" Brennan. I have been battling a case where a landlord defrauded me into leasing a property that s...he knew was being foreclosed, lied about it, went back on an agreement we made and subjected me and my child to intruders coming in as they please. Needless to say, I needed an attorney right away. First, I felt God lead me to Terry, and when God appoints someone to you, they must be doing something right. Terry is amazing to watch in court; even the judges and other viewers in court have complimented his style and knowledge after our hearings! Sometimes I sit there feeling like a proud parent! Lol! I have never dealt with any court issues, so with this being my first and the worst I could imagine dealing with, (no one wants the security of home being attacked); I needed someone who knew their stuff. Not only is Terry a prime attorney, but also a real estate broker - exactly what my case needed! It's like I got a 2-for-1!! He also knows RE law and I am left trusting Terry's approach in every way. True enough attorneys are pricey and Terry's cost is no different, however I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for and I think Terry has been worth every penny. Although my case is not completely over (I know, it's been two years), I feel confident that with God and Terry on my side, I win!
