I must have engaged Carolyn for a year, or more, before I stopped dithering and began the actual bankruptcy process. She was unfailingly kind, informative and patient (!) until I said to start the ball rolling. Throughout the entire process, she was magnificent...answering all e-mails, texts and .../ or phone calls promptly, and always with useful and correct information or suggestions. Her empathy and compassion made a highly stressful five years much more bearable than they would otherwise have been. At all times, she was highly professional. Just before I could get my discharge, I found it necessary to engage her services for a tangentially-related issue. Once again, she guided me through that somewhat confusing process clearly and competently. I cannot recommend Carolyn Krohn highly enough. She tells you like it is, but she does it in a way that is very res...pectful to you. Know that is for YOUR benefit, as her client, that she pulls no punches. She keeps you advised every step of the way, is almost always available to answer questions, and is particularly fast to respond to emails. If you leave a voicemail, she WILL call you back, unlike some lawyers with whom I have dealt in the past. I never felt out of the loop on anything, and she kept me completely aware of the steps being taken and why, and those to be taken (and why.) She meticulously prepares and walks you through the meeting with your Bankruptcy Trustee. She keeps you apprised of her communications with the Trustee's Office as well. Carolyn is extraordinarily professional in her interactions with the Trustee and the Bankruptcy Court, and she obviously takes her position as an Officer of the Court very seriously. Carolyn works tirelessly to obtain the best outcome for you and your case. On a personal note, she also assuages fears, calms nerves, and reassures when she can, but she will never misrepresent or "color-coat" anything to, or misguide you, at any time. Of that, you can be sure. She truly is an advocate for you. Carolyn's fees are extremely reasonable. Quite frankly, I would have paid twice the amount I paid for the legal services she provided! I recommend Carolyn Krohn without a single hesitation or caveat. You just cannot say that about so many lawyers who are out there advertising, vying for, and tripping over each other to pull you in as their client. That's just not Carolyn's style.
