Mr. Ruter was extremely patient with me during a difficult time in my life. On appeal Mr. Ruter had my case overturned, this is a rare accomplishment in Federal Court. good luck with him . I am not hear to suggest that you do not hire him . I am just posting my experience. I was talked into pleading guilty on my case. after my conviction I filed against him for ineffective assistance of counsel. It is extremely hard for someone to win in federal court for ineffecti...ve assistance, but I did win on my 2255 against him. If he would have done atleast a half decent job on my case, lost my 2255 and I would have been away alot longer so I am glad that he did not effectively do his job on my case.
