Sharon R Morgan

Sharon R. Morgan is a partner with the firm who has expertise in representing people injured by serious medical negligence. She concentrates her practice on complex cases such as cancer misdiagnosis, nursing home negligence and infants who suffered birth trauma resulting in cerebral palsy. Prior to joining the firm she was an associate in a general practice firm, representing clients for medical negligence, personal injury and auto negligence cases, as well as estate administration. After graduating law school, she completed a one year internship with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in the Public Health Division.

Prior to her law career, Mrs. Morgan served 21 years in the United States Navy, and retired as a Chief Hospital Corpsman. Mrs. Morgan is honored to have served in the Persian Gulf War on board the Hospital Ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20), and to have deployed on that ship in support of military and humanitarian missions on the island of Haiti. She also served as the Legal Officer for the U.S. Naval Hospital in Guantanamo Bay Cuba. Mrs. Morgan has worked and supervised in a variety of clinical areas including Labor and Delivery, Emergency Room, Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), and Intensive Care Units. During her military career she received numerous Navy Achievement Medals and Navy Commendation Medals for superior performance in operational settings. Mrs. Morgan’s extensive medical background, knowledge of hospital administration, and her unique military experience combine to enhance her law practice.

Ms. Morgan is admitted to practice in the State Courts of Maryland and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland (Northern Division). She has been specially admitted to practice law for individual cases in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, New Jersey, Minnesota and Missouri. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, the American Association for Justice (AAJ), and the Maryland Association For Justice.
