I highly recommend Mr. Gunning.

Mr. Gunning is very familiar with the law, and may be a good litigator for other types of cases, but he did not represent me well in my car accident case. He is "that" lawyer who knows the opposing insurance company litigators well and lots of back slapping went on with them and the judge with more ...discussion about lacrosse games than my case. Mr. Gunning pressed for me to settle for much less than my case was worth simply because he never prepped to take it to court. It stands out in my mind that when we went into court for the final settlement conference Mr. Gunning wrote down on a piece of paper how much money HE expected for himself out of the case and he suggested I do the same for myself. This was the level of advice and representation I received. When I first interviewed him, he sounded like he was well experienced with going to court in car accident injury cases. Four days before my case was to go to court and he was pressing me to settle before then, he admitted that he had only taken these kinds of cases to court about 4 times. He had my orthopedic doctor ready to testify but never bothered to prep any of my other therapists or witnesses who all would have been good witnesses on the stand, I ended up settling for much less than I should have in a very clear cut case. But Mr. Gunning got the number that was on his piece of paper. I would never recommend this attorney for a personal injury case from a car accident!
