Ralph Sapia earned his B.A degree in Political Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 1989; following graduation he spent several years running his family’s business in Ocean City, Maryland. He completed his Certification in Secondary Education at The College of Notre Dame and began teaching high school social studies in Baltimore County. During his number of years with the school system, Ralph co-wrote and piloted the Advance Placement Economics Curriculum.

In 1999, Ralph was accepted to the University of Baltimore School of Law. While teaching full-time he pursued his law degree at night and completed the program in three years. In 2004, Ralph and a colleague ventured out on their own and, in 2010 the firm became The Law Office of Ralph L. Sapia, P.A.

Over the years Ralph has developed an understanding of meeting his client’s objectives and creating realistic expectations. As a teacher, Ralph has the ability to convey complex concepts in ways a non-lawyer can understand. Ralph’s practice focus is in business and family law matters.

Ralph’s business savvy allows him to represent clients in shareholders/members disputes, breach of contract and collection matters. Ralph brings his no nonsense approach to family law matters, where his approach allows his clients to focus on resolving disputes over alimony, property distribution and child custody in a swift and economic manner.

A graduate of the Cardinal Gibbons High School, Ralph grew up between Baltimore and Ocean City, MD. Ralph continues his teaching as an instructor with the Shemer Bar Review and on weekends when he’s not in a courtroom, Ralph can be found on high school football fields throughout Baltimore City and Baltimore County as a football official.

Superb!

Ralph Sapia is not your average attorney, he will go above and beyond to ensure his client's satisfaction. When it came to my situation I was very anxious and overly concerned with the outcome. The kind that give Lawyers a GOOD name!!!

Ralph represented me in my divorce. I found that he focused on doing what was right through the entire process. He was cause-focused NOT hourly dollar-focused. He had good relationships with other attorneys and courthouse employees, and was clearly respected. Ralph was a creative thinker and strate...gist, which I needed and appreciated. However, he was candid with what his expectations, even when it was unpleasant for me to hear. The timely return of phone calls was sometimes a challenge as it often is with a litigation attorney, but he has a wonderful team of support that are available and/or can reach him.

He came highly recommended and he did not disapoint.

To say "you can't begin to understand how a divorce touches every part of your life" would be an understatement. Most of us haven't done this before and don't come to the table with a law degree. Ralph has provided me the counsel I've needed to navigate this divorce exactly the way I wanted it, while... all along the way giving me the peace of mind that I was making the best decisions for me and my children. He took my case last minute and has treated me like I was his only client. I couldn't have put a price on being informed and having peace of mind, and yet Ralph has given me both for a very reasonable fee. I would highly recommend hiring Ralph in any situation that needs counsel.

Awesome Lawyer!!

Highly Recommend for Divorce Process
