I was referred to Ms. Turnbull by our couples counselor. She was very experienced and quite knowledgeable, and gave me reasonable advice in our initial meeting. As we were discussing financial issues, one thing that of course came up was whether or not I would be able to afford to stay in our current... house. It is a little big, and she said, "You know, those bigger houses are for families." I believe that one mostly hires an attorney for their expertise; at the same time, I don't want one that will add to my pain. I decided to find someone else.
