Louise A Lock

Six months ago I contacted Ms. Lock (by referral from another attorney) regarding a potential medical malpractice case. I provided everything she asked for in a timely fashion. I never met Ms. Lock, only communicated by email and had one telephone conversation with her back in 2014. After months of ...empty promises from Ms. Lock that she would get up with me regarding my case, I had finally had enough! On February 17, 2015 I called her office (yet again) only to receive an answering machine (which is what you get when you call her office. You never speak to a live body, only an answering machine and your calls do not get returned). I emailed her telling her that six months is long enough to wait for an answer about my case and that I wanted my medical records back. Of course I received an automatic email response stating that she was out of the office until February 19, 2015. She never responded to my email. On February 23, 2015 I faxed my email to her office. I received an email from her late in the afternoon on the 25th simply stating that I can pick my records up from a law firm in her building, which is the same law firm I dropped off my medical records to in August of 2014! That, in and of itself, speaks volumes! I received no apology from Ms. Lock for making me wait all of these months. I have been in the legal profession for 30 years. I have had the honor and privilege of working with and for many outstanding attorneys as well as Judges. Never in my 30 year career would I expect to be treated the way I was by another legal professional. Louise Lock is less than professional, does not answer her telephone, and from what I have experienced, she does not have staff. Because of her, six very valuable months have passed and I have to now find another medical malpractice attorney and start the process over again.
