Clarissa Lindsey

The state hired her as a panel attorney. No fault of her own, she was assigned my case the night before my trial hearing. While she did not have enough time to review the case thoroughly, she presented my case like she did. She is extremely knowledgeable about the law. She was attentive and really ca...re for her clients and their well-being. She initially asked me what did I want the outcome to be and I told her a dismissal. She consulted with the state and within 5 minutes of entering the court room, she had all my charges dismissed. Before I left the court house, my record was no longer on the state case search. I've never seen anyone work as efficient as Attorney Lindsey. Not only did she get my charges dismissed, but before the day was over she had my expungement paperwork filled out and emailed it to me to sign for convenience. She even went a step further and contacted the state attorney to inform them I was invoking my 5th amendment right, so when I showed up to court the next week the state was already aware of my stance and I did not have to testify in the other case. She was on top of everything. Attorney Lindsey will work to get the best outcome for her clients just as she did me. I recommend her to anyone that is looking for a professional and knowledgeable attorney. She has compassion and empathy for her clients,, has humility, and easy to talk with. All in all, she loves what she does and it shows in her work. Being an attorney is more than just a career, it is who she is at the core.

IMO it’s never a good day to have to call a lawyer because of legal fees and the uncertainty of your case outcome. This review is LONG overdue!!! I want to take a moment to recommend Clarissa, as she handled my case with ease! Initially, I was embarrassed to say I needed to retain counsel. I was tim...id during my consultation, but “life happens”. Clarissa was non-judgmental and reassuring from start to finish! I wanted my charge dropped before the court date, which I learned wasn’t possible.. Nonetheless, I appreciated Clarissa not giving false hope and instead educating me on how District Court actually processes domestic cases. She is not your average female lawyer, because her court presence was strong, dominant, and straight to the point.. while in heels. My case dispositioned as “NP” and was expunged.
