Dustin Chase Furman

Dustin is a founding partner and attorney at Furman | Honick Law. Dustin has tried hundreds of cases and have recovered tens of millions of dollars for my clients. Dustin’s journey to become a trial attorney started back in high school when he was an intern for a premier medical malpractice firm. Dustin worked in the field throughout high school, college, and law school. Dustin graduated from law school as the youngest in my class at just 23 years old.

Since graduation, Dustin jumped headfirst into the Courtroom and has had the privilege to try hundreds of cases. Dustin has worked on a wide variety of cases both large and small, including a $55 million verdict and $21 million verdict. Dustin’s approach to litigation is to leave no stone unturned. Dustin takes pride in handling his clients cases from the early investigation all the way through to trial. Dustin has been named to the “Top 40 under 40” in Maryland by The National Trial Lawyers.

Dustin graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law. In law school Dustin was the lead attorney on the acclaimed National Trial Team, Dustin was selected to the American College of Trial Lawyers’ Advanced Trial Skills Master Program, and Dustin was inducted into the Royal Shannonhouse Honors Society.

Dustin has been invited to and lectured at both the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Georgetown University School of Medicine on medical-legal topics. In his spare time, Dustin serves as a mentor to Maryland high school students as a Judge for the Maryland State Bar Association Mock Trial Competition.

Dustin is a member of both the Maryland Association for Justice and American Association for Justice. Dustin is admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland, U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, and District of Columbia.
