Chaz R. Ball is an associate attorney at Schlachman, Belsky, & Weiner, P.A. in downtown Baltimore. Recently recognized for the third straight year as a Super Lawyers Rising Star, his practice focuses on complex civil litigation of personal injury and civil rights matters and criminal defense.  Mr. Ball’s practice also includes peace and protective order proceedings.  In his career, Mr. Ball has tried in over fifty bench trials, twenty-eight jury trials, and has argued before Maryland’s Court of Special Appeals, acting as “first chair” during all of the bench trials and twenty of the jury trials.  In addition to his law practice, Mr. Ball serves as an Adjunct Professor at Towson University in the Department of Mass Communication and Communication Studies. Mr. Ball also serves on the Editorial Board for the Trial Reporter, a publication of the Maryland Association for Justice, as the Young Lawyers’ Division Public Education Chair for the Bar Association of Baltimore City, and as an Associate Editor for the American Bar Association’s The Young Lawyer publication.
