The whole process of discussing the parameters and intentions of the will was very smooth. The questionnaire they provided was a good starting point. Executing the final version and the filing was very good.

Doug was a pleasure to work with as was his assistant, Colleen. They both made completing our Wills and estate planning documents easy and happily answered all our questions. Highly recommend them!

He clarified any details of my Will that needed further explanation. He also gave me certain examples of scenarios that potentially could happen in certain situations. In addition, Mr. Burgess made sure I truly understood that a POA document would be very beneficial to me in the future. Very profess...

Doug and Amy were professional, efficient and caring. They walked me through a difficult and tedious estate situation with compassion and understanding.

Very comfortable to work with and did a great job with estate documents I was in need of.
"I have practiced law with Doug Burgess for over 30 years. First as partners at Nolan, Plumhoff & Williams, and for the past 1 ¾ years he and I share office space and are “Of Counsel” to each other’s separate law practices. Doug has established himself as a very knowledgeable and experienced lawyer in all aspects of real estate matters from business formation, development, management, transactional work, sales and exchanges, and representing clients in real estate litigation. He also has a substantial estate planning and estate administration practice, including estate litigation. He ably represents restaurateurs in the management and transfer of restaurants and liquor licenses. He easily develops a friendly and caring relationship with his clients, which makes him a trusted adviser. Clients continually look to him for ongoing legal services."
"I endorse this lawyer. I've known Doug for over thirty years as a fellow student and as a lawyer. I know him to be an attorney of great competence and exceptional character. I would not, and do not, hesitate to consider Doug as a referral resource for those of my clients who would benefit from his experience and expertise."
