Disorganized and Unreliable — A Costly Mistake

I hired Alexis Sisolak at JC Law to handle my divorce, and it turned out to be one of the most stressful and disappointing decisions I’ve made. Over the course of 5 months, I paid over $15,000 in legal fees and yet saw very little progress or professionalism in return. The process dragged on for o...ver 5 months, with constant delays, poor communication, and a lack of urgency. At multiple points, I had to remind them of basic facts about my case, which made it clear that they weren’t paying close attention. Despite the high costs, the attorney seemed unprepared during key meetings and did not advocate for my interests effectively. I felt like my case was just another file on their desk, not a real person going through a difficult life event. I had leave that law firm and hire another attorney.

Dishonest and Misleading

Ms. Sisolak was my attorney on a divorce/custody case. She was my representation for 7 months. Nothing was accomplished during that time. I was continually asked to perform tasks that essentially were deemed unnecessary by my current representation that continued to cost me dearly financially. She ga...ve me bad advice on filing which has since cost me at least and additional 7 months of proceedings. Ms. Sisolak missed meetings, was late to meetings and generally misled me. Ms. Sisolak than abruptly left the firm in the midst of my case "due to personal health reasons". Ms. Sisolak informed she might not even renew her license to continue to practice due to health issues only to discover that Ms. Sisolak moved on to another firm at James Crawford Law within 30 days of leaving the firm I retained Ms. Sisolak's services. I feel this was irresponsible and unprofessional. The misleading, unprofessional service I received by Ms. Sisolak and the frim she was employed have cost me dearly financially, and most importantly took a sever mental toll on myself and my son.
