Dramatic though it may sound, Todd Mohink saved my life. My minor marijuana charge quickly had spiraled into multiple more serious charges in federal court in a military basis, further complicated by political chaos and an open bias against gays in military law. I was facing years in federal prison, ...after which a conviction would have prevented me from getting a job in my very competitive field. I was severely, dangerously despondent. I didn’t need to do a single thing after leaving his office: all my court appearances were waived, his legal secretary handled my paperwork and he checked in with me routinely, knowing how anxious I was. One night he unexpectedly called to deliver the deal of a lifetime: a few hours of community service wherever I wanted and the case would be dismissed, the arrest record removed. I have since walked away from this crisis without so much as a scratch, no court appearances, no probation, no drug tests or home inspections, no records, no lasting consequences whatsoever. The life I had built myself had indeed been saved from permanent adverse changes and I owe it all to the tenacity of Todd Mohink and his warm and helpful secretary Stacy. I cannot recommend his practice highly enough.
