Adverse party was verbally and sometimes physically abusing the teenage child. The Child Protective Services report was inconclusive and the parent didn't know where to turn. The existing custody orde ... r gave both parents 50/50 custody. Attorney Mulinazzi was appointed to be the child's Best Interests Attorney. He gathered information from many sources, subpoenaed guidance counselors, and documentation, prepared the teenager for court and gained permission from the Court for the teenager to tell his story in Chambers. As a result, the child is now safe from the abuse, counseling was ordered, the child can see the the abusive parent in a safe, limited environment, the abusive parent is paying child support, and the child is very happy with the outcome.
