Tyler is a 2015 graduate of Virginia Tech, with a degree in Political Science and Philosophy, Summa Cum Laude. Tyler then attended and graduated from the University of Maryland Carey School of Law. Throughtout most of his time in law school, Tyler sharpened his skills in litigation as a member of the University of Maryland National Trial Team and as President of the Moot Court Board.
During law school, Tyler served as an Intern for the Honorable Angela Krom of the Franklin County (Pennsylvania) Court of Common Pleas, assisting the Judge by conducting legal research, drafting opinions, and discussing evidentiary and procedural rulings with Judge Krom. Tyler then served as a Law Clerk for Shapiro, Zwanetz, & Associates, a Criminal Defense firm in Howard County, Maryland, where he learned the value of effective trial techniques and of being a prepared and passionate advocate for each and every client. Tyler utilized these tools to also build a sturdy foundation and understanding of the Family Law and Civil Law environments while working as a Law Clerk, and then as an Associate Attorney, at Spencer & Stahl, P.C. As an Associate Attorney at The Spencer Law Group, Tyler embraces and demonstrates the best qualities from these experiences, in an effort to help clients to achieve the best result possible in their cases. Tyler has extensive experience managing cases from inception through completion, including several multi-day trials. While working to hopefully reach settlements in all possible cases, Tyler is a relentless advocate who readily argues in Court on behalf of his clients who are unable to reach out-of-Court settlements.
Tyler volunteers for the Activities Committee of the Maryland State Bar Association Young Lawyer's Section. In his free time, he is a Division II and III NCAA Basketball Official, and enjoys golf, making music, and spending time with friends and family.

Tyler responded to any inquiry I had within 24 hours, often almost immediately. He explained the divorce process which allayed any anxiety I might have had. He seemed genuinely happy for me when it was all over and I got a great settlement.
