Judith Todes has been practicing immigration law for over 20 years. Judith has represented hundreds of individuals and families in all aspects of immigration and naturalization law, as well as in removal proceedings. She has worked for several non-profit organizations in cases that involved domestic violence, family immigration, temporary protected status, removal and naturalization. Judith has worked for dozens of private and public corporations in cases that involved temporary and permanent visas for scientists, engineers, professional and non-professional employees, as well as their family members.
Judith has been the Baltimore Immigration Court liaison and Baltimore Citizenship and Immigration Services liaison for the Washington Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She is Treasurer of and serves on the Section Council of the Immigration Law Section of the Maryland State Bar Association and has served on the Board of Directors for the Foreign Born Information Referral Network and the Board of Directors of Maryland Immigrant Rights Coalition. Judith has worked with University Offices of Foreign Student Affairs to assist students from other countries with their visa and immigration challenges. She leads round-table discussions or workshops for client companies on current issues in immigration and naturalization law. She has given talks on immigration law to the Maryland State Bar Association, universities, companies and non-profits.
