Excellent advice delivered with compassion and clarity

I just finished my introductory consultation with Mr. Coover and am so relieved to have found the perfect attorney to guide me through the process of drafting a Marital Settlement Agreement with my husband of 25-years with the goal of divorcing. At the beginning of the hour session, I was feeling he...lpless, overwhelmed, paralyzed with fear, and hopeless. By the end -- thanks to Mr. Coover's empathy, calm demeanor, and clear advice -- I felt much calmer. He helped me see a path forward and offered real guidance, supported by years of experience, on best practices to begin civilly conversing with my husband about an actionable plan for our future. Mr. Coover encouraged me to listen to my husband and reminded me the goal is resolution, not confrontation. He was honest about the costs associated with the process. He constantly reminded me that I would be okay - a message I truly needed to hear. While discussing the legal big picture, he intermittently acknowledged my fears and emotions. Because I felt understood and validated, I was much better able to process the legal advice and information he slowly and methodically presented. I am beyond grateful to have found a lawyer I know will represent me well and who will help me maintain my dignity, decorum, and grace through this difficult process.

Initial divorce consultation

I found Chip to be very experienced and personable. He was supportive of my desired approach to my divorce while giving me the advice I needed to hear. I’m glad that Chip was recommended to me as I feel more confident and comfortable with the process going forward.

Compassionate and competent!

Going through a divorce is a emotionally difficult process. It is essential that you have a lawyer who is knowledgeable but also caring about how you are doing at each step. Thus is achieved by having someone who can explain the process, give you a realistic appraisal of your situation and will do a...ll in his power to help you achieve your goals. Attorney Coover and his team excel in all areas of this process. He always made sure I understood everything and respected my wishes. He knows that divorce is not where any of us thought we’d end up and respected the time it took to make sure I was comfortable at each step. I would recommend him highly.

Consultation

I recently had a great experience with Mr. Coover during a consultation regarding a post-divorce custody modification. While explaining to Chip my situation, he almost finished my sentences he was so familiar with what I was going through. He completely understood and presented me with a number of op...tions. It was an outstanding consultation and I actually wish I would have used Chip for my divorce. Whenever I decide to make my next move regarding my current custody arrangement I will be sure to use Chip, 100%, hands-down.

Hiring Fred "Chip" Coover was the best decision that I could have made regarding my divorce

Chip and his staff have been extremely proactive and aggressive in helping me over the last two years in my extremely complicated divorce case.
