Coover, Esquire of Columbia based COOVER & BARR, LLC-ATTORNEYS AT LAW wins a $1,978,000.00 jury verdict against Authsec, Inc. and its principals, Dallas Bi ... shoff and Marion Bishoff. The website of Authsec, Inc., a Columbia based provider of information technology and security services, lists as Authsec’s representative clients the U.S. Senate, Department of Veterans Affairs, Federal Aviation Administration, Federal Identity Credentialing Committee, American Association of Airport Executives, NASDAQ, Arbitron, City of Baltimore and the State of Maryland. Following a three (3) day trial, a Howard County jury entered verdicts against Authsec and the Bishoffs in favor of Mark D. Rohrbach of Poway, California for breach of contract and negligent misrepresentation. In 2006, Mr. Rohrbach, a U.S. Naval Academy graduate, career naval officer and former Sr. Vice President of Authsec, sued the Bishoffs and Authsec maintaining entitlement to a 49% stock interest in the company. Upon delivery of the jury’s verdict, Mr. Rohrbach commented, “I’m very happy-I feel vindicatedâ€.
