My hero, attorney Amos Whitney!

I had a complicated custody situation. At first I went to Mr Whitney to enquire what my options are. After listening to my story, he offered to represent me pro bono. I was overwhelmed with emotions, I could tell he understood and felt my pain. Yes he settled it without me going to court not even one... time (heaven knows I'm afraid of the court room). Thanks for patient, kindness and professionalism and intelligence. My family will forever be grateful to you.

My best choice yet

My case isn't anywhere close to being finished yet . . but I should've went with Amos the first time around. I hired Amos for my child custody case after my divorce. It has been a long, emotional process. "Some" of the time, I have been emotionally unreasonable and Amos is able to get me back on ...track. He is very knowledgeable and really cares about the children. Do you research, have the consults, go with the lawyer you feel most comfortable with! Make sure he/she has a soft side but can be aggressive as well. Divorce is an emotional process. Make sure you find a lawyer that looks at both sides. At the end of the day, emotions aside, it comes down to the best interest of you, the client, but the children as well.

Highly recommend

Amos was recommended to me from a friend who is also an attorney. I have been a “frequent flyer” it seems for last 5 years since my divorce with one problem after another that has landed my ex-husband and I in court far too many times. I decided for this most recent custody issue it was time for a “f...resh set of eyes” on my case. I was so nervous to leave my previous attorney because he was also really great. But I honestly could not have made a better choice in hiring Amos. He took my case from being an all out custody war to a negotiated agreement between my ex and I, an agreement I could not have made any better if I wanted to, and in the end took an extremely difficult co-parenting relationship and he was able to get my ex and I on the same page and now a wonderful co-parent situation. Amos was so knowledgeable and so patient with me through this difficult time in my life. I always felt he really listened to me and heard me. I am so grateful for his hard work to get my case settled and a new agreement that works so well for not only myself and my ex-husband, but mostly importantly an agreement that is good for our daughter too.

Quick Help in Emergency Custody Case

When I came into Amos's office I was in a very difficult situation with my wife, who was dealing with alcoholism, and I had left our home with my children. Amos and his team were quickly able to help get me back in control of my life with custody of the children and sole use of the house. Within ...two weeks we were back at home. Not only was Amos able to get a great result and help my family but he really cared about us as well and it made everything easier for me knowing I had someone who was not only extremely competent but also truly cared about me and my family.
