Criminal Defense 45%

Many times persons make serious mistakes when they attempt to represent themselves when they are charged with criminal offenses including DWI, theft offenses, etc. When I represent someone charged with a crime, my first concern is to obtain copies of the police records to determine if you have a constitutional defense to the charges. Even if you are found guilty there are many things that an experienced attorney can do to mitigate the penalty imposed.

Divorce and Separation 40%

Although many people attempt to handle their own divorce cases, if you have children or significant property, including retirement plans, you could be short-changing your rights to collect what you are entitled to receive. Negotiation of your marital settlement agreement is a very important part of the process and you should obtain legal assistance at this early stage of the process.

Personal Injury 10%

Trial litigation in both state and federal courts involving primarily automobile injury cases. Most cases are resolved by settlement, but to get the highest settlements, you must have a well documented file and be weilling to take your claim to trial if the adjuster isn't willing to give your client fair value for their injuries.

General Practice 5%

The remaining part of my practice involves review of agreements, preparation of DPAs and simple Wills, administrative hearings, and other incidental legal matters.

PERSONAL INJURY, AUTOMOTIVE COLLISION

Over the past few years we have worked closely with David in matters ranging from past divorce concerns to our current case which is an automobile accident that took place some time ago. Mr. Titman’s advice has been very positive and very timely. Advice from the very day of the accident (when you ...need to make contact with your attorney) was very clear and put us at ease while we sorted out other issues of concern. We would have MOST CERTAINLY made mistakes if we had not been wise enough to call him right away. I/we recommend him for anyone that may have suffered an injury among other legal remedies. He speaks clearly and will not run circles around you like some of those squirrelly lawyers you see on TV while you watch the Price Is Right. We recommend him because of our confidence in him to get the job done right.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
