Many times persons make serious mistakes when they attempt to represent themselves when they are charged with criminal offenses including DWI, theft offenses, etc. When I represent someone charged with a crime, my first concern is to obtain copies of the police records to determine if you have a constitutional defense to the charges. Even if you are found guilty there are many things that an experienced attorney can do to mitigate the penalty imposed.

Although many people attempt to handle their own divorce cases, if you have children or significant property, including retirement plans, you could be short-changing your rights to collect what you are entitled to receive. Negotiation of your marital settlement agreement is a very important part of the process and you should obtain legal assistance at this early stage of the process.

Trial litigation in both state and federal courts involving primarily automobile injury cases. Most cases are resolved by settlement, but to get the highest settlements, you must have a well documented file and be weilling to take your claim to trial if the adjuster isn't willing to give your client fair value for their injuries.
