Sever trauma right leg. Work related. The employer Insurance Company plaid hardball, after 1 1/2 year they started to denied all medical treatment, and pain management. they wanted me to settle the money side,they knew that they would have to pay for life time medical. Even before I was rated by a I...ME they started to offer lump sum's settlements . My Attorney flied issues with the Commission.That took some time (6 mo.'s) to be heard.. I received 3 more offers before the court date. I turned them down, on my Attorney advice. We went in front of the Commissioner ,I was awarded 100 % for life, and granted life time medical. My Attorney guided me during the process of Workman comp. It is a Process. From the date of injury until the hearing took 38 months. the last 11 months the insurance had stop my TTD. they now have been order to pay the back pay in a lump sum.My weekly check is also to start for life in the next few day's. He and his staff me informed all along the way.
