I have been representing injured workers in Maryland and Washington, D.C. workers' compensation claims since 2003. I served for one year as the co-chair person of the workers' compensation section of the Montgomery County, Maryland Bar Association. I have appeared at hundreds of Maryland Workers' Compensation Commission hearings, Washington, D.C. Informal Conferences and Formal Hearings with the on behalf of my clients. In 2012, I expanded my practice to include Virginia workers’ compensation claims. I have appeared at multiple Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission hearings since 2012.
I am fluent in Spanish and French, and I enjoy working with foreign-born clients to help them to navigate the legal system. In addition to representing clients in workers' compensation claims, I also handle personal injury claims. Prior to beginning with Antezana & Antezana, LLC in October of 2013, I worked as an associate attorney for two different small law firms in Montomery County, Maryland doing the same kind of work. Before this, I served as the law clerk for the Honorable D. Warren Donohue of the Circuit Court for Montgomery County Maryland.
I graduated from the Georgetown University Law Center with my juris doctor degree in 2001. Prior to my legal career, I worked as a French and Spanish teacher at Elizabeth Seton High School in Bladensburg, Maryland and served as a loan counselor for a national, non-profit housing organization, helping low and moderate income homebuyers qualify for fixed-rate mortgage loans. I graduated from Villanova University in 1993 where I was elected as a member of phi beta kappa, and delivered the student commencement oration at the graduation ceremony. I also earned a master of arts in teaching degree from Trinity University in Washington, D.C. in 1995. I am licensed in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia.
