Matt is professional and friendly. I believe he is liked by the legal community including judges. Unfortunately, his court room demeanor is more on the side of meek than aggressive. True story, my ex-wife had never made custody exchanges easy. We had two boys. My ex-wife refused to let the oldest ret...urn on our exchanges, then kicked him out of her house within a year. After I had both boys back with me for a month, my ex-wife took my youngest away and would not allow him to be exchanged. I hired Matt and we went in for an Emergency Hearing. The judge says, well what if he did abuse the child? Matt says nothing, just shrugs his shoulders. Swear. Not, "the ex has shown a past history, the ex has been removed from the house for child abuse and domestic violence in the past" nothing. Just shrugs his shoulders. After we left the courtroom he scolded me for wearing a dress shirt, dress pants, and a tie without a jacket. No apologies for lackluster performance.
