I highly recommend the legal services of Steve Plaisted. He is highly knowledgeable about Maryland estate planning law. I used his services to write a trust, wills and POAs in order to get things in order for my husband and me as we rapidly approach our senior years. Steve and Pam completed our estate plan before a critical operation this April '19 with little time available (about two weeks). To make matters worse I had lost a significant amount of eye sight but still wanted to get our legal matters in order before the time for a second operation, not knowing th...e outcome. Despite the limited time, and multiple conference calls and some missed internal project dead-lines, we worked together and got the documents completed. I was impressed when we thought up some non-standard legal language and Steve had to do research if what we wanted would be legally binding in the State of Maryland. During those times he mentioned he would not charge us for that research time, since it was "a new condition" for him. He gave an estimate after our original consultation and when we signed the completed documents, he held to that cost for the engagement. This is the second time we have used Steve, the first time in 2008 doing a POA document.
