She is the BEST PERIOD!

You need a GOOD lawyer? I mean a lawyer who can handle complex issues and still assure you the best outcome? You have found the right place and right person! Mrs. Glinsmann has always been responsive, personable, professional, well versed and mostly importantly, honest. You don't want a lawyer who is... going to overpromise. You want one who will tell you the truth and make an effort for the best delivery. I cannot thank her enough for what she has done to help me for my naturalization process. It is not an easy path but Mrs. Glinsmann helped me make it happen - finally my American dream became true.

Excellent and supportive

My wife and I tried for a couple of years, with little success to complete the green card application on our own. Our anxiety toward forms really came out when we looked at Form I-485. Within less than a month of having our documentation, Maria Glinsmann and her team were able to successfully send th...e document. Less than a year and a half after the submission, our green card got approved. Maria was there every step of the process to patiently answer every question we had without requesting any additional payment. She was even present for the interview, greatly calming our nerves. This team is exceptional. They pay attention to every detail, are incredibly organized, remind you of important deadlines, and provide the support you need. I cannot be happier with my choice to work with Maria, and I will continue to work with her for all our future immigration applications.

Great handling on EAD, travel document and GC process.

Ms. Glinsmann and her team have been superb in anticipating potential roadblocks along the process, as well as been committed on delivering timely. As a result, I have the benefit of counting with an EAD card and a travel document, even during the midst of a virus-related shutdown in US Embassies and... Consulates abroad during 2020. This success should be put in context as my visa process was processed in time even though there was an additional slow down on the US Government part, as USCIS offices and State Department were working remotely, and no face-to-face interaction was possible for several months during the initial months of the virus-related period. The speed and success in which my case have unraveled is stunning. Ms. Glinsmann has been working with me on a family-based GC since 2015. The process has gone as smooth as possible. Last year the initial petition (I-130) was approved, and I bear in mind she also helped me documenting and filing this stage of the process. And from then on, I have experienced only great results from her. Early this year Ms. Glinsmann carefully weighed on and eventually decided to go for an adjustment of status (I-485), instead of Consular processing in my country. It should be stressed that her decision to take this path was made before pandemic times. Her knowledge and care on the whole process outlook and background were key to take this approach. However, I would like to stress that her decision had more than double its value. I cannot imagine the stress, time and lengthy processing that would have taken if I had decided to go for Consular Processing. I would have been out of the United States for a lot of time, lost my job, and still be waiting to hand my papers to the Embassy in my country. After opting for adjustment of status, the process ran smoothly. We had a Request for Evidence (RFE) notification in between, mid this year, but it was sorted out by Ms. Glinsmann and her team in a very quickly manner. The US Government had only asked for a specific document, so from the outset it did not present a cause of major worry. Eventually, two months after she responded to the RFE I received the EAD card and travel document, the combo card.

Blast From The Past N-600

I needed to obtain a certificate of citizenship. I met the requirements for the N-600 while I was a minor, however never receiving the actual certificate. Then at 31 years old I was looking once again at the N-600. The questions alone were confusing, and I was unsure if I was capable to complete the ...process on my own. A friend suggested Maria Glinsmann, I reached out and had my consultation. Immediately I felt confident in her ability to help me. I ended up hiring Maria a few months later, the process for the N-600 was daunting. I was fortunate that my mom was able to quickly round up documents that we needed. She lives out of state so we had mail going back and forth. I was informed of developments, although they seemed few and far between. It was a waiting game, but I was able to sleep at night - knowing that I had someone who knew what they were doing. I wasn't in this process alone, that gave me a feeling of security. USCIS forms can be intimidating and overwhelming. Hiring Maria Glinsmann to represent me was the best decision I had made, Maria took my case personally and cared each step of the way. Her team is also incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and responds quickly to questions and concerns. My application took approximately 15 months.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
