Ms. Glinsman and her legal team were wonderful! We are very thankful they have accepted our challenging case. Every case is different so I dont want to go to specific details and also, because we were all worried anxious of the future during those times that we cant take it all in. I felt that every ...thing that could go wrong with my husband's case had gone wrong from waiver application, approval, denial, reapplication and the final application for green card. Me and family have considered giving up but Ms. Glinsman talked to us, explained everything, and answered all our doubts and questions. Her answers to our questions-she provides with what the laws says or what is current, and this gives us assurance that she has every intent of seeing us through despite the road blocks. In the end my husband was finally able to join me and our son. With all the things we went through what strikes me the most is that the whole team is honest, knowledgeable, and most of all they really cared for their clients. I cannot remember all the names with all the people who worked on our case for it has been a long one about 4 yrs since we started ( it got longer because processing has halted during the pandemic), but we want to thank them all with. The whole team were just a call away, kind and nice. Ana & Rodrigo ( I hope I remembered your names right) thank you for accommodating me anytime and everytime. Ms. Glinsmann thank you for helping us and convincing us not to give up. I would go back to her if ever the need arises in the future.

She is A One in million !!

Maria Glinsmann was an excellent attorney, a true-life saver. I came to this country on a marriage visa, but the marriage ended up being unsustainable and I felt trapped. I did the right thing for myself and my life and got separated, but as a result I faced the frustration of the immigration denial ...of my green card renewal and had to prove that my marriage was based on good faith. In a total despair, somehow during google search I typed “best immigration lawyer”, Maria Glinsmann’s name popped up. I read her reviews and called instantly to schedule an appointment ; it was the best decision that I have ever made. Maria and her amazing team were able to comfort and console me. She gave me a realistic assessment of my immigration status and my options for the future. She communicated with USCIS on my behalf, arranged hearings, and made sure all of the proper documentation and attestations were submitted. I am now a green card holder, a legal permanent resident of the United States and on my path to citizenship, and it is all because of her and her team’s hard work and dedication. I would recommend her to anyone dealing with immigration or citizenship issues, she is a wonderful person and an even better attorney. (Afi )

Great handling on EAD, travel document and GC process.

Ms. Glinsmann and her team have been superb in anticipating potential roadblocks along the process, as well as been committed on delivering timely. As a result, I have the benefit of counting with an EAD card and a travel document, even during the midst of a virus-related shutdown in US Embassies and... Consulates abroad during 2020. This success should be put in context as my visa process was processed in time even though there was an additional slow down on the US Government part, as USCIS offices and State Department were working remotely, and no face-to-face interaction was possible for several months during the initial months of the virus-related period. The speed and success in which my case have unraveled is stunning. Ms. Glinsmann has been working with me on a family-based GC since 2015. The process has gone as smooth as possible. Last year the initial petition (I-130) was approved, and I bear in mind she also helped me documenting and filing this stage of the process. And from then on, I have experienced only great results from her. Early this year Ms. Glinsmann carefully weighed on and eventually decided to go for an adjustment of status (I-485), instead of Consular processing in my country. It should be stressed that her decision to take this path was made before pandemic times. Her knowledge and care on the whole process outlook and background were key to take this approach. However, I would like to stress that her decision had more than double its value. I cannot imagine the stress, time and lengthy processing that would have taken if I had decided to go for Consular Processing. I would have been out of the United States for a lot of time, lost my job, and still be waiting to hand my papers to the Embassy in my country. After opting for adjustment of status, the process ran smoothly. We had a Request for Evidence (RFE) notification in between, mid this year, but it was sorted out by Ms. Glinsmann and her team in a very quickly manner. The US Government had only asked for a specific document, so from the outset it did not present a cause of major worry. Eventually, two months after she responded to the RFE I received the EAD card and travel document, the combo card.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
