I am the Executive Director for Adoption Makes Family. Ms.Leichman has been the attorney for Adoption Makes Family for over six years. Ms. Leichman has handled over 85 adoptions that have been successfully completed. In addition, she has handled numerous cases where the situation did not resul...t in a finalized adoption. Ms. Leichman has approached each case with the highest professionalism and expertise. Her knowledge of adoption law has made her an invaluable asset not only to the Agency, but to each birth parent and adoptive family affected by the adoption process. Ms. Leichman is a staunch advocate for adoption. She is well-studied and brings her knowledge to the legal functioning of Adoption Makes Family. She is an educator, helping clients understand how adoption works and assuring the highest ethical and legal standards for each adoption. Her actions and advice have been a guiding force through calm as well as rocky seas. Her commitment to the well being of Adoption Makes Family is reassuring not only to me as the Executive Director, but to birth parents, adoptive parents and our Board of Directors.
