Mr. Krum is a partner and shareholder at Armstrong, Donohue, Ceppos, Vaughan & Rhoades, Chartered. He has been representing hospitals, physicians, nurses, and other health care providers and professional medical practice groups in Maryland and in the District of Columbia for the course of his career. He also handles matters before the Maryland Board of Physicians, D.C. Board of Medicine, and the Maryland State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. Mr. Krum is also an active member of the Maryland Society for Healthcare Risk Management, and he regularly lectures and presents to physicians, nurses and professional medical practice groups in Maryland and in the District of Columbia on medical malpractice and risk management related issues.
In addition to practicing law, Mr. Krum is an Adjunct Professor with the University of Baltimore School of Law, an institution of the University System of Maryland, where he teaches advocacy and legal writing to law students.
Mr. Krum obtained his undergraduate degree in 1999 at the University of Maryland, College Park, magna cum laude, with honors from Omicron Delta Kappa. Mr. Krum graduated from The American University Washington College of Law in the Top 15% of his class in 2003. While a student at WCL, Mr. Krum served as the President of the Moot Court Executive Board, and as a member of the Administrative Law Review.
Mr. Krum has been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers® in Maryland and in the District of Columbia since 2014. Mr. Krum was selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers® - Rising Stars in 2013. No more than 2.5 percent of Maryland lawyers who are under the age of 40, or who have been in practice for 10 years or less, are named to the Rising Stars list.
Mr. Krum has also served as a licensed Maryland Emergency Medical Technician-B. From 1996 through December 2014, he served as a volunteer firefighter and EMT-B. Mr. Krum began volunteering as a member of the Bowie Volunteer Fire Department, Station 39, in Prince George’s County. He also provided volunteer services in Montgomery County at the Laytonsville District Volunteer Fire Department, Station 17. Mr. Krum was recognized as a Firefighter of the Year in 1996, and in 1997, he received a Governor's Citation for his service.
