Please, read the review below about the divorce. A family member of mine reached out to this “attorney “ for bankruptcy filing. He asked for $3,000 retainer for filing for bankruptcy and was hired in April. He recommended to file in October. He was presented with all requested documents, and altho...ugh having clear email trail, he kept requesting the same documents over and over again to pump the bill. Out of the blue in September he starts blasting emails for over 8 hours and declining to represent the client nor return the money, claiming he has exhausted the retainer. Mind you not one statement has been presented between April and September. This is extremely unprofessional, shady and brutal tactic taking advantage of people in extreme need. If you are considering hiring this person, please, keep on looking for more professional, knowledgeable and honest individual.

He represented me in my divorce, and I cannot think of a worse experience. He charged me while we were chatting informally (not about my case), without notifying me of that. I probably spent close to $10,000 for no legal advice whatsoever, not realizing it until he gave me my final bill. During the t...rial, he caved in to whatever opposing counsel demanded and did not defend me in any way. I even tried to suggest certain things he could say in my defense, and he refused to state these in the hearing. Example: My ex-wife had her wedding ring appraised at $20,000, then her attorney said it was only worth $2500 (which was clearly ridiculous and unfounded). Daniel protested very meekly, so we ended up at $7500, A good attorney would have submitted the appraisal as evidence and insisted on the amount indicated. If you want a lawyer who will actually do his job with purpose and energy, Daniel Kennedy is not the right choice.
