Charles R Spigelman

Charles R. Spigelman graduated from Lafayette College in 1976 and the University Of Baltimore School Of Law in 1979. After graduating from law school, Mr. Spigelman served as law clerk to the Honorable Albert T. Blackwell, Jr., of the Circuit Court for Prince George's County, Maryland. He then went into private practice from 1980 to 1984. From 1984 to 1990, Mr. Spigelman served as an Assistant County Attorney for Montgomery County, Maryland, where he represented Montgomery County, its agencies and other municipal entities in defending various tort actions, before administrative agencies and on appeal. Mr. Spigelman returned to private practice in 1990 joining the law firm formerly known as Gilberg & Kurent in Washington, D.C. Mr. Spigelman's practice concentrated on the defense of claims in construction liability, motor vehicle tort and general liability. He has successfully tried a significant number of cases to verdict. Mr. Spigelman went into solo practice in October 1998, and formed Spigelman and Cecere, LLC, in 1999 with Mr. Cecere where they have continued their successful practice.

Mr. Spigelman is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of the State of Maryland and in the District of Columbia.
