Very grateful

I contacted Ms. Demougeot to help my father and I with a criminal defense case in 2017. From the start, she understood that we were all very much on edge about the situation and she took the time to calm us down. She walked us through the process and was honest and straightforward with us about each ...step, but - most importantly- she fought very hard for us. My father does not speak English, and having a lawyer able to switch back and forth between Spanish and English to make him feel comfortable was invaluable. She has a powerful presence in the courtroom and her dedication to us - her clients - reassured both my father and myself. She's truly an excellent attorney and I know she'd be the first person I would call if I ever needed a lawyer again.

THE Best Lawyer- Hands Down

I cannot give enough praises to Ms. Carolyn Demougeot. Professional, accurate, intuitive, informative, dedicated, insightful, and intelligent are just a few words to describe her. Not to mention she speaks four languages. I’m sure she had more pressing cases to litigate, but I could never tell bec...ause she always responded to all of my questions very quickly. I can’t say enough great things about Ms. Demougeot. She was reassuring, gave me every possible outcome, yet informed me how more than likely the case would go-and she was correct. I was extremely pleased with the outcome and she has held my hand so to speak since our initial meeting. I was so thankful to have her representation and assistance and she made every attempt to calm my nerves and to be there during court. I am deeply grateful for her compassion and dedication.

"Carolyn is a rising star. Totally endorsed. I tend to be hard on new lawyers because less than 100% of them have good judgment - something critical that is hard to learn and even harder to teach. Usually, not always, good judgment is the result of experience, which often is the result of mis-fire and even bad judgment, Carolyn happily has good judgment in abundance. Perhaps her fluency in multiple languages and in multiple cultures gives her a breadth of experience from which to draw. Maybe they teach it at Vassar; I know they don't at Princeton. I would gladly trust any client of mine or any file of mine to her, and that is rare. I don't like trusting anybody, especially not with my clients' files. But if I got sick and Carolyn had to stand in for me on something, I'd rest easy, knowing the file to be in the right hands. Totally endorsed."
