Do not hire this attorney or this law firm. I hired Mr. Bender for a medical malpractice case he completely misrepresented himself and his abilities. He never gave a monthly accounting of fees. He said he had forty years experience yet could not handle the defense at trial. He did not have any ...support staff. Very low budget law firm.

i retained Mr. Bender after severely tearing my biceps and damaging my rotator cuff in an accident on the job. Bruce represented me in my initial appearance before the Workers Comp Commission, and subsequently in trial to determine my permanent disability. in both instances we won our case, thanks ...to his determination to secure a favorable outcome. Bruce showed himself to be genuinely concerned with my well-being, not just as a client, but also as a person, and was totally committed to achieving the best outcome for me and my family, and for our future. i appreciate all the work, the letters, the calls, and the good counsel, and throughout it all, he stayed in touch and informed me of developments in my case at all times. i would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing assistance in his field of expertise.

Mr. Bender accepted a case based on negligence in a local school involving an injury my son suffered. He failed to do basic research on the case and let it drag on for something like five years. Finally, he had a junior attorney in his firm do the research on my son's kind of case - that he should ha...ve done before taking the case in the first place - and tell us that there was no remedy available. This is the worst kind of sleazy lawyer behavior I have ever seen. He waited years to actually do something then decided he wasn't going to bring the case to court. I will also be complaining to the bar association about Bender. What a creep. He made promises to a child and then broke his word. Now he is billing me for the time he spent, something I will never, ever pay, not even if he gets a tax lien or a judgement against me. Absolutely a must to avoid.
