My background is unconventional. Before practicing law, I spent more than two decades working on democratic governance and election integrity across four continents — advising governments, training election officials, and building the institutions that make democracy work. That work taught me to think rigorously under pressure, communicate complex ideas clearly, and focus on outcomes that last.
