Alan Michael Freeman

I have known Alan Freeman for close to seven years. He is not only a top notch attorney, but also a person of the highest caliber and integrity. Although he mainly litigatescommercial matters--and is very successful at it--he doesn't hesitate to cross over to other practice areas if the circumstances... so warrant. For instance, recently, Alan undertook the representation of my sister-in-law in connection with her role as a material witness in a gruesome murder that ocurred last year. The prosecutor, fearing that she would not be back in the country in time to testify at the trial, had her hrown in jail and held overnight without bond. When I called Alan, he immediately drove over to where my sister-in-law was being held and met with my brother and me. The next day, Alan attended the bond review hearing, at which my sister-in-law was ordered to surrender her passport to the prosecution. After the hearing, the prosecution met with my sister-in-law to interview her. Alan attended the meeting and, against all odds, convinced the prosecutor to return my sister-in-law's passport to her and allow her to travel to her home country, on condition that she return before the trial. My brother, sister-in-law, and I are forever grateful to Alan for his hard work, dedication and zealous advocacy.
