Rebecca is a past (2011-2013) co-Chair of the D.C. Bar Family Law Section Steering Committee. She has been a contributing author of the Custody Section in the Domestic Relations chapter of the District of Columbia Practice Manual, serves as a guardian ad litem, as a mentor to other lawyers in the DC Bar Advocacy and Justice Clinic, is a volunteer at the DC Bar Advice and Referral Clinic and volunteers as an Attorney-Negotiator in D.C. Superior Court.
She received her law degree from American University-Washington College of Law (J.D., 2002) and her undergraduate degree in African-American Studies from Bates College (B.A. with Honors, 1997).
