If I could give her a 0 rating I would! She is totally non communicative once you give her your retainer. She gets an attitude when you are finally able to reach her and mention that she hasn’t returned calls or hasn’t returned opposing counsels calls and addressed issues. She was embarrassing in ...court because she was so unprepared. I am surprised that she still has her law license… probably not for long. This was a custody and child support case. I looked her up and she was reprimanded for this exact behavior by the state bar. Do Not Hire!

I hired Akia to handle my divorce. During consultation she talks a good game. In court, she will give opposing counsel EVERYTHING they want. She has zero fight. She doesn't return calls, texts or emails. Dropped the ball in so many areas it was frightening. We had a trial date scheduled for t...hree weeks out and she wasn't returning calls. She didn't return my call until 10 minutes after she received an email from my new attorney letting her know her services were no longer needed. She was upset and very unprofessional. She sent me an itemized list of "outstanding charges" including calls to me in which she asked me to re-send documents she misplaced. I politely told her to take my 5k retainer and beat it. I should be suing her for fraudulently representing an attorney. Needless to say, she never contacted me again. Do yourself a favor and stay very far away from this "attorney"
