Samantha Granderson is the founding attorney of The Law Office of Samantha Granderson, LLC, where she is committed to guiding individuals and families through legal challenges with clarity, compassion, and confidence. With over 20 years of experience, she offers personalized, solution-focused representation in Family Law, Estate Planning, and Probate Administration.
Samantha began her legal career in 2000 with the firm Bacon, Thornton & Palmer, after earning her degree in Paralegal Science from the University of Maryland University College. While working full-time, she earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2005. While in law school, she was honored with the Public Interest Award for the significant public interest contributions during her law school career.

In 2022, Samantha launched her own firm to better serve her community with a focus on accessibility, strong advocacy and peaceful conflict resolution. She is a certified mediator and trained collaborative law professional, offering clients respectful, family-centered alternatives to traditional litigation. Her firm’s motto reflects her approach:

Samantha is admitted to practice in the Court of Appeals of Maryland, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, and the United States Court of Appeals. She has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2020 to 2024, a designation earned by no more than 2.5% of attorneys in the state.  Samantha is actively involved in the legal community as a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, Prince George’s County Bar Association, the Montgomery County Bar Association and J. Franklyn Bourne Bar Association. She also proudly supports access to justice through her volunteer work with Community Legal Services of Prince George’s County, Montgomery County Bar Foundation, and other public access to justice organizations/groups.

When she’s not strongly advocating for her clients, she enjoys bowling, DIY projects, crafting, and spending time with family and friends.
