I believe Kathleen to be a very good lawyer for the typical divorce where contested is not that bad. In my case I had a highly contested divorce involving two items: Alimony and retirement. That is it. I believe in results so I'll let the result speak for themselves. Alimony 2,700 per month indef...inate. Retirement - I lost 600,000 out of 800,000 in retirement in a 50/50 state. Out of my original 800,000 I have 200,000 left to retire on and I'm age 55. Retirement should not be a negotiable item in MD divorce law. It should be a state mandate of strate 50/50 no negotiation accepted. It should be completely off the table to prevent abuse like this. I paid all legal expenses for my spouse total was 20,000 for her legal expenses. Total case legal expenses were for over 60,000 for negotiating two numbers and neither were in my favor. Total award for my ex wife is over 1.6 million in entitelements. I absorbed all of the remaining marital debt the spouse walked away bing paid out 30,000 in cash with no debt. I had to pay off all of her debts. The reason I divorced my wife was due to her marital un-faithfullness. I leave the outcome for you to determine. I put the 3 star rating there because Kathleen took the case on after I had to fire the last lawyer for showing up to court un-prepared. I believe the last lawyer did so much damage Kathleen was just trying to stop the bleeding he caused. That is why the 3 start rating. I hope the best for Kathleen this was a tough case for her and I believe it was a bit more than she expected. I'm living on the other side of it now, I am barely making ends meet and cannot save for retirement.
