Mr. Ealley focuses his practice primarily on Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Bankruptcy, Estate Administration and Estate Planning. In representing clients in bankruptcy, James understands the financial stress people are experiencing. He understands their concerns to protect their assets, rebuild their financial lives and create a better future for their families. James counsels clients to alleviate their worries and concerns and develop a plan to address their financial problems, whether it be stopping a foreclosure, repossession or garnishment, or erasing credit card, medical or tax debt. Doing so requires a thorough understanding of the Federal Bankruptcy laws. Since beginning his practice in bankruptcy in 2001, James has gained a complete understanding of the complexities of the Bankruptcy Code and its application in consumer bankruptcy matters.
Mr. Ealley also provides full estate planning and estate administration services to his clients. Approximately one-half of all Americans will die without a will in place. This creates a significant chance for confusion and contention among the surviving family and friends. A complete, well-defined estate plan helps avoid such conflict by providing clear direction for how the deceased wanted their property and affairs to be handled upon their passing. James offers a variety of Estate Planning solutions to protect your family, including wills, trusts, health care directives and powers of attorney.

Not recommended to anyone. Beware of this attorney!
He received his money during the first 6 months of my 5 year chapter 13. After 3 years into the case had a hearing with the trustee and he managed to get my case dismissed. I lost 3 years of payments and he also go $500 more from me to file a motion which never got filed and ignores my calls and ema...
Mr. S.: I am sorry your case got dismissed. However, the dismissal was due to missing 4 months of Chapter 13 Plan payments, and for failure to turnover 2 years of tax refunds as required by the Plan. For the $500 fee paid to me, I filed the response to the Trustee's Motion to Dismiss as promised. I also attended 2 court hearings with the Trustee on the matter. (6/18/2019 and 7/30/2019). The Trustee determined that the only way to effectively resolve such a significant default was to dismiss the case and start fresh with a new case. This is very common when a default occurs. The letter sent to you from my office on August 6, 2019 explained this. I remain more than willing to work with you to resolve any remaining debt issues. James D. Ealley
