Elder Law 30%

Elder law attorneys and elder care lawyers deal with issues related to elderly and disabled people. They write wills, answer tax questions, and plan strategies for obtaining disability, Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare payments. Their services are useful for health and long-term care planning, as well as end-of-life planning decisions and instances of elder abuse. They know what public and private resources may be available for your elderly relatives or for you family and friends.

30%
Probate 25%

Probate is the legal process used to carry out a person's will after their death; a probate attorney advises you on how to perform the steps in the process.

25%
Estate Planning 20%

"Estate" is the legal term used to define your property and money, basically, everything that belongs to you. Estate planning attorneys tell you different strategies you can use to transfer your belongings after you die. By planning your estate, you can maximize its value by minimizing taxes and eliminating court costs and interference. They also help you control and protect your estate during your lifetime, by writing documents that allow you to transfer and manage property while you are alive.

20%
Trusts 20%

A trust is an arrangement whereby someone owns and manages money or property for another person's benefit. There are many different trust types, including irrevocable trusts, revocable living trusts, probate trusts, income trusts, spendthrift trusts, and educational trusts.

20%
Guardianship 5%

When a person is too young to make decisions or is incapacitated and can no longer care for their own interests, guardian law allows the court to appoint someone to make legal and welfare decisions for them. Guardianship lawyers advise you about the appropriate legal guardianship for your particular circumstances. They also help with guardianship forms and other legal paperwork, and represent the guardian once one is appointed.

An Experienced Lawyer you can trust!

I can’t say enough good about Brian. Brian helped us with a petition to sell in lieu of partition case. Usually trust and lawyer aren’t used in the same sentence but in this case it is. We trust this lawyer. He’s honest, reliable and on top of his game. He an expert in estate law, knows the playe...rs and his advice is sound. He’s aims to solve issue quickly rather than drag them out unnecessarily like other lawyers do. Every time we’ve needed him, he is ALWAYS been there. He responds quickly to phone calls or email. His experience and wisdom have saved us a ton of money. On top of that he’s just a really nice guy and easy to talk to.

Empathy and Expertise

Dealing with a sensitive elder-care issue before meeting Brian was scary, frustrating, and ineffective. Once I engaged Brian to assist things became a lot better. His expertise with the law and recommendations on viable-options really helped us develop a course of action that worked for everyone. ...But more than that, his empathetic approach kept us calm and confident thing would be ok.

One Who Truly Cares!

While I have never been a Guardian, Brian was helpful in explaining what my position would be and how the process was to work on behalf of my cousin. He was factual and was able to give me the time and attention that was needed when it come to the law. I was given great customer service and attention... when handling the case of my cousin who suffers with Dementia. He has a wealth of knowledge when it come to the law and will assist you in taking care of your loved one.

Very Helpful

Brian really helped me out. I needed my Will and Powers of Attorney done before I went out of the country on a mission trip and he did them for me in less than a week. He was very helpful and very thorough. He spent a lot of time getting my information and explaining what the documents do and how ...to use them if I ever needed to. I would recommend him to anyone.

client review

Mr. Ritter handled our wills, medical power of attorney, and living wills. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to work with him on these legal matters. He listened attentively and answered all of our questions. Mr. Ritter's responses were on time or ahead of projected d...ate. He guided us, but allowed us to make our voices heard. He also was able to confidently provide legal information on another matter. Mr. Ritter would be my first choice to handle future legal matters. I highly reccomend Mr. Ritter.
