After meeting with many lawyers and hours of consultations, I decided that Kevin McDevitt had just a little more fire within him. Not only that, but I feel like he actually listened to me. I felt safe in knowing that he would exert all the effort, time, and knowledge to give me a fighting chance. ...I was stereotyped by local police, refused an illegal search and was ripped out of my vehicle. The police found a blue container with "multiple flakes" in it, which the police tried to justify as a STRONG odor or marijuana. There was no smell. There was no marijuana, and I went to jail for failure to obey, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. I'll give him credit, it took me some time to find the right lawyer, and he maybe had two to three weeks (at most) to prepare. When the time came for court, I felt confident to go to trial against the police. Mr. McDevitt knows the laws instinctually, and has a passion to protect his clients rights and freedom. I am happy to say I was found not guilty on resisting arrest and failure to obey an officer. Mr. McDevitts work didn't stop inside the court room. He called me the very next day and we are going to be getting together in the near future for reconsideration on my disorderly charge. I cannot stress enough how dedicated this man is to serving TRUE justice. Kevin, from my family to yours, thank you for being there and for everything you did for us. Now I can get back to taking care of my family without this black cloud over my head.

Mr McDevitt assisted me in a very personal manner. First he explained the potential negative affects of the situation then tested me to ensure the understanding. I was never in doubt or had any questions that didn't receive a knowledgeable an honest answer. I prepared myself for a less than favorable... outcome however the end result was outstanding. Everything from communication to paper work couldn't have been delt with. I recommend Mr McDevitt in any situation you might find your self in.
