Southern Maryland Law has BY FAR been the best law firm I've ever hired. Tucker and Amanda were amazing and did an excellent job in helping get through my Workers Comp case. They were very patient and understanding of what I was going through especially during that time in my life where things became... unexpectedly difficult for me. Their counsel and encouragement was extremely helpful in getting me through my situation and ending with a resolution that I was very happy with. I was reffered to Tucker Clagett by a attorney friend of the family. Tucker took on my workers compensation case in September 2019. Through the process of my workers compensation case Tucker and his Paralegal Amanda Green where very professionial, prompt, honest, and where always availble with an...y concerns I had. Workers compensation claims can be draining and do take time and through it all they where there for me by my side and I personally learned a lot from the process. I recently was involved in an accident where I my vehicle was hit, sustaining only property damage totaling to my vehicle. While I am one who shows compassion and and mercy combined with accountability and tenacity, I can say, I believe strongly that I have met a true rival to my own convictions! ...While researching information on filing a lawsuit against the person and their insurance company, I stumbled upon Southern Maryland Law's website. After reading through the extremely thoughtful and extensive information and legal guides that Mr. Tucker Clagett has written, regarding auto accidents and personal injury cases, what to expect, the importance of acquiring good legal counsel as well as the reality that few attorneys will take on property damage/loss only cases that are of low dollar amount losses, since it is seldom in the best interest of the victim. I certainly have experienced this reality after reaching out to several other attorneys that I have known in the past. YET, with Mr. Clagett, I found something very different. The first was a very open invitation to receive free in depth counsel. While many who read this review may say, "what's different about that?" I will tell you. Yes many will and I have experience that myself, however they very quickly assess your situation and case. If it is not something profitable to them, they quickly dismiss you out the door with a business card and a mint or soda if your lucky. As with most business's they are looking for clients/customers that will make them money. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with that, if making money is your prime focus and rides above having compassion for your fellow man, a strong sense of true justice, and the good of the whole of society. Not so, with Mr. Clagett and Southern Maryland Law! Second, Mr. Clagett, took the time to review a very large and extensive amount of information I provided him on my situation prior to my consultation. Then, took the time to speak with me at great length. Three, He educated me with in depth information so 'that I would be equipped to understand the system, processes, do's and don'ts etc. in order, that I will be well prepared to handle my entire civil case as well as the case that will be in traffic court successfully. All this at no charge, again, knowing full well on the front end that this was not a case that would either, make him or his firm money and where it would not be in my best interest to hire him. Now, for me, that is a welcome change and a breath of fresh air to find someone that was not looking to get their hands in my pocket or turn me away because I could not be a benefit to them. Rather, Mr. Clagett, chose to be a benefit for another person over himself and his profits. Further, the education he provided was in detail, not generalities, thorough and complete For this reason I would fully recommend this attorney for his knowledge, concern for true justice, compassion for people and his moral compass!

Tucker Clagett is absolutely wonderful. I've gone to him with two auto accident cases over the years - one an uninsured driver, and in the second the other driver's insurance refused to pay. Both times, the other drivers actually moved out of state and made themselves hard to find. And both times, ...Tucker was able to get them served, and we won both cases. He is wonderful to work with. I hope that I'm not in another auto accident; but if it need legal help again, I'm going straight to Tucker.
