Albert Hughes Williams

Hugh Williams, an experienced trial attorney joined Trollinger Law LLC in September 2023. Hugh is known as a tactful but zealous litigation attorney throughout southern Maryland.

Prior to joining Trollinger Law LLC to represent injured workers and car accident victims, Hugh honed his trial and negotiating skills for seven years at a busy criminal defense firm in La Plata, Maryland. Hugh fought for his clients in court in Charles, Calvert and St. Mary’s multiple times a week. Prior to his role as a criminal defense attorney, Hugh spent two years at a general litigation firm in Prince George’s County. He spent two years as a law clerk in the Circuit Courts for St. Mary’s and Harford Counties.

While attending the University of Maryland School of Law, he worked full-time for the Maryland Office of the Attorney General, assisting victims of Identity Theft and working with State Legislators to enact consumer protection laws.

Hugh resides in La Plata with his wife and three children and is actively involved in the community, sitting as the Chair of the Town Of La Plata Board of Appeals, Vice President of the Conservancy for Charles County, and Committee Chair and Den Leader for Cub Scout Pack 423 based in La Plata. Hugh is a lover of the outdoors and enjoys fishing, canoeing, skiing, and taking trips with his family.
