EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Mr. Pyles received his Juris Doctorate degree from the Washington College of Law at the American University in 1991. Prior to law school, he graduated from the University of Baltimore, magna cum laude, with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice.

One of Mr. Pyles’ first legal jobs was working as a law clerk for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Felony I Division (murders, rapes and robberies). During the summer after his first year of law school, he worked with U.S. Attorneys who handled murder trials. Mr. Pyles was aligned with one of the top prosecutors with the U.S. Attorney’s office and helped respond and formulate both pre-trial and trial motions during the prosecution of these murder cases. Upon graduation, Mr. Pyles went to work for Richard A. Brown, senior and founding partner at Brown & McCormick and devoted his initial career to representing victims of personal injury cases as well as clients that found themselves facing the state in criminal prosecutions. During this time period, Mr. Pyles sharpened his litigation skills and began developing his reputation among judges, lawyers and clients as a top litigator. From there, Mr. Pyles started working at a Southern Maryland law firm where he continued to focus on personal injury and criminal defense. He also began to handle domestic relations and bankruptcy cases.

In 2010, Mr. Pyles decided to open his own firm that primarily focused on personal injury and criminal defense cases. Today, Mr. Pyles has a sound general practice law firm with a strong emphasis on personal injury litigation, including car, truck and motorcycle accidents. From the very start Mr. Williams was never judgmental, asked me if I truly needed help or if I just wanted to obtain the best outcome. Well I did obtain the best outcome and I am more than thankful for this fir...m and will refer anyone I know to this firm. As humans we are born to make mistakes to learn from, and not only did this firm help me get through what was a very difficult and scary time in my life, they made me feel like they cared about me AS A PERSON, and if I truly needed help with a problem along with my criminal charges. Highly recommend that you call the Law Office of Thomas E. Pyles

I was in a bad car accident which involved multiple vehicles; afterwards I was flooded with calls from the insurance company of every vehicle involved, all of which was eager to get a recorded statement from me. My wife took all the calls and explained that I was in no condition to provide a statemen...t, none of them cared, their main concern was establishing who was at fault. My wife decided that the best thing to do was to let an attorney deal with them. While searching for a lawyer we came across Tom’s YouTube Video; my wife called Tom’s office to set up an appointment to speak with him reference my accident; Tom took her call and she informed him that I was in a vehicle accident involving multiple vehicles and the doctor she took me to see had diagnosed me with a concussion. Mr. Pyles’ first response was “your husband is in no condition to provide a statement, ensure he get some rest and give me a call in a day or two and my staff will set you up with an appointment to come in”; that compassion and concern for my well-being let me know that we made the right choice. Upon my arrival I was greeted and was helped immediately. Having never being in an accident which required assistance from an attorney I had a lot of questions; Tom took the time to explain the entire process and told me how long it could take to settle my case. From my first conversation with Tom until everything was settled (two years) his staff (Sandy) kept in contact and continually explained every detail so that I would be continually updated and had a thorough understanding of my case. If you are looking for a law firm where you are only known as a case number and goes after a quick settlement so they can move on to their next case, then the Law Office of Thomas E. Pyles is not for you. However, if you are looking for a law firm who knows your name, cares about your well-being, and is willing to fight for you to ensure that you receive everything you deserve I highly recommend that you call the Law Office of Thomas E. Pyles. I know that my decision in choosing Thomas Pyles Law Firm was a great one.

Hire Thomas Pyles Today!

Thomas Pyles helped me with two accident cases and is currently working on the third. None of the accidents were my fault...Tom used this knowledge wisely which allowed him to remain persistent and dedicated to each case accepting ONLY the BEST offers. He was very prompt and responded to all of my qu...estions and concerns. His assistant Angie Hume has always been thorough as well as his other employees in the firm.
