John William Sobchak Jr.

Attorney John Sobchak has spent his career being an advocate for those who need it most. Mr. Sobchak received a bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh before earning his Juris Doctorate from George Mason University School of Law.

Since he joined the Virginia State Bar, Mr. Sobchak has gained a wide range of legal experience helping clients throughout the Northern Virginia area and beyond. Mr. Sobchak has represented clients in a variety of cases ranging from criminal misdemeanors to custody disputes and uncontested divorces, to personal injury and civil litigation and even assistance with estate administration. This interdisciplinary approach has given Mr. Sobchak a unique perspective of how distinct aspects of the legal system come together to impact on the lives of his clients. Mr. Sobchak has leveraged that perspective for the benefits of his clients. He has successfully argued on behalf of his clients before both Commonwealth Attorneys and judges for his clients’ charges to be reduced or even outright dismissed.

Mr. Sobchak knows that clients come to him with problems – not just cases - and that these problems meaningfully effect his clients’ lives.
